was on location painting with a Brush With the Broads event in September. I got up at 6am one morning and headed for Ranworth Nature Reserve on Ranworth Broad. The Heron got very cross as he was perching on a chain over the river and didn't like my being around. I decided to set up there and see if he came back and he did, three times. So I got a lovely calm early morning Autumn painting looking towards the Maltings Broad.
