I love London scenes in the rain and decided this was something i'd like to make a collection out of. As well as Twilight scenes. So here we have one from a series. I've been working on plein Air painting and this has helped me to get nice effects in the studio. Here we have a scene walking up from Embankment station in London, with Big Ben and the Chariot Statue. I like the dramatic contrast between the two at the dusk light time. The painting is in lightfast waterproof ink and is Teal in colour. I've made the photo match as accurately as I can manage but as ever the subtle aspects of the original are even more impressive.
It is Mounted and ready easily for posting.
