Painting surfaces that looks Shiny or metallic is something I'm very interested in representing. I'm drawn to these objects and there has to be something primeval about that. Perhaps metal is a status of wealth or that shine is something that brings back past memories. Maybe a link to reflections of water. Who knows. All I'm aware of is that most people love these paintings and I love making them.
