This painting is part of a series investigating the reflective and surface qualities of Cutlery - especially the lovely odd antique, rustic varieties. I love the patina on these items. I enjoy the challenge of creating their reflections in oil paints and to use some of the techniques of the old masters.
Probably looks best unframed - or could look good in a tray frame.
