I took a day out painting with Guildford Art Society in August and was really pleased to create these three paintings on Linen. The day was a stormy one and this meant the light changed and the clouds were dark. The first painting has the Godalming Church spire in it and that was done at 10am and then at 11.30am I began on view down the tow path toward the distant Grassy meadow. Finally from 2pm until 3.30pm I worked on the pathway leading away from Farncombe Boat house. It was such a pleasure to paint outdoors, but always a challenge. These paintings are on Linen, hand stretched by me. Which means they have a rustic and lightbrown charm. The Paintings are impressionistic. The price is for the set of three.
Now framed in lovely white tray frames.
