I was working on this brilliant abstract in oil and wax. Engaged in creating an essence of water with those lovely pastel hues. After completing it - it was one of those that you look at in the studio for a long time. It dried out thoroughly but something was missing. Its a beautiful spring day here in England and I was struck with how much like a Lilly pond it looks. So of course emulating the work of Monet - I set out to make my own version of lilies on this pond. I'm really please with how it came out, especially the angle of perspective - its spot on. The paint is drying and will take a couple of weeks before it can be shipped. (March 29th) But if you are prepared to wait - I'm sure you will be delighted with this one.
Postage is no problem. - properly packaged by me.
It could be hung on its own as it is - but equally brilliant framed.
