This collection of artwork is a unique style of fine art mixed media work of my own devising and is based upon work I did in London around the streets of Trafalgar and behind the portrait gallery. Using a range of inks on specialist Two Rivers hand pressed 300GSM paper, I aimed for a look that is contemporary but harks back to the etching prints of the 1800's with the image part hand drawn and part transfer in an etching style. Some of the etching gets lightly rubbed away in the process to deliberately create an aged quality.
